The Aftermath of Ramadan

It has almost been a full month since the end of Ramadan. I have asked this question not only to others but for the sole purpose of self reflection. What has Ramandan taught you? It is not a question that can be easily answered is it? It requires deep thoughts, perhaps a look at yourself from a mirror, and self reflection upon your actions.

Ramadan comes every year to teach us how to be better Muslims. At the end of the day, we are imperfect and we make many mistakes, some may be intentional and some may be unintentional. We are sinners, full of temptation from the world and from society's standards. So how can we benefit from Ramadan after it is long gone?

We continue striving in the way of Allah by implementing the good that we have done in the month of Ramadan, even if it be one good action. One good deed/action enables us to grow. It is like a seed that is planted, in due time that seed will flourish and many new good deeds may come from it. If you are a Muslim who altered your behavior during Ramadan then congratulations, you are on your way to becoming a better Muslim if you have continued that good behavior after Ramadan. Ramadan is truly a blessed month, the reward of it after it is gone begins with you.  Do not let the rewards of it be wasted because you will still continue being Muslim.

Always before have to set targets to achieve within ramadhan. After you have to look at what you achieved and how you will continue to build upon what you already started.

May Allah allows us to achieve success in ramadhan and to help us continue to build upon it after to help us get closer to Him.

May Allah accept all the good and forgive the bad through his Mercy.

    Ameen
